Need more support?
If breathing exercises aren't enough right now, that's okay. Reaching out to another person can be the next step.
If you may be in immediate danger, contact your local emergency service or go to the nearest emergency department.
If you are thinking about harming yourself or ending your life, please reach out to someone now. You do not have to manage this on your own.

Need more support?
Talk to someone you trust
A friend, family member, teacher, colleague or neighbour. You don't need the right words. "I'm having a hard time, can we talk?" is enough.
Talk to a professional
A doctor, clinical psychologist, psychiatrist or counsellor can help with distress that is lasting, getting worse, or affecting daily life. College and workplace counselling services are a good place to start.
In a crisis
If you feel unsafe or in danger, contact emergency services or a crisis helpline now, or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
Outside India
Contact your local emergency number, or search for your country's national mental health or crisis helpline from an official health ministry or health service website.
